The Approach to Developing Communications Strategies
A core focus of Hartzog Consulting’s work has been to understand the ecosystem of social, professional, financial, geographic, and cultural intersections, and to assist in the development of processes and partnerships that lead to reaching defined performance metrics and long-term advancement.
Hybrid Models + Interaction
In an effort to reach diversified segments of the populations, we implement hybrid models of outreach that consist of both in-person, virtual, and digital methods of communication and requests for input.
Intentional Interaction Design + Development
Thoughtful design of not only the events and initiatives but an understanding, from the onset, of the ultimate purpose, goals and outcomes of each activation. Our team consists of event, project management, and communications specialists who design based on the audience. We use a targeted approach to understand the needs of the various stakeholder groups, extracting data that we then articulate into content that is customized for the target audience(s) being served.

THE HBCU STORYTELLING JOURNEY: TRANSFORMATION, SHARING, AND SUSTAINABILITY
Members of the Hartzog Consulting team serve on the Bill & Melinda Gates Frontier Set HBCU Intermediary Team, a team of professionals who supported six HBCU institutions during the project. The HBCU Storytelling team led a charge to develop a custom storytelling playbook for each institution, a 60-page resource that showcases work of institutional transformation.View the feature.
